Tucked away in a corner of the garden, Ben’s Yurt, and its adjoining Cabin, are the perfect place for a relaxing “glamping” holiday. The Yurt is a circular, wooden building, which features many of the components from our original, and much loved, Mongolian Yurt, which succumbed to the winter storms of 2013.
The Yurt is a lovely, relaxing space, where you can play Scrabble, listen to music, and just enjoy the peace and quiet.
Outside is a fire pit, a barbeque, and tables and chairs. The Cabin, which is a step away, houses the shower room, the bedroom - with a double and a single bed - and a full kitchen, with gas hob and electric oven.
Prices:
Self catering: £100 per night, for two - or £550 a week, for two.
Whilst I love working with airbnb, one thing to bear in mind is that their commission rates are obtained by adding an additional charge to the rates quoted on the Broughton House website - it will say something like Service Charge - so you will pay about 10% more if you book through their website.
