As a solo traveller, it annoys me that I always seem to be penalised for being on my own, so I have designed the Little Garden House specifically for one person
It is a studio apartment, with a super-comfortable memory foam bed, an en-suite shower room, a tiny, but well equipped kitchen, with a hob and a microwave, plus a toaster, a kettle, and a ‘fridge
I leave you home-made brownies, home-baked shortbread, fruit, fresh milk, and eggs from my hens, plus Teapigs tea, and proper coffee
Looking out over the garden, it is a peaceful base from which to explore the Southern Lake District, and is available for anything from a one night stay, to a week or more
£35 a night – or £200 if you want to stay for seven nights
Whilst I love working with airbnb, one thing to bear in mind is that their commission rates are obtained by adding an additional charge to the rates quoted on the Broughton House website - it will say something like Service Charge - so you will pay about 10% more if you book through their website.
