Breakfast - cooked in the Aga - showcases locally sourced specialities. Prize-winning sausages, dry cured smoked bacon, and black pudding, come from Higginsons of Grange. Eggs come from the hens in the garden, the juice is freshly squeezed, and the sourdough bread is home-made. There is lots of choice: go for the "full English", or - for something lighter - try our scrambled eggs and Cartmel Valley smoked salmon, or a boiled egg and soldiers. With a choice of cereals, Bircher muesli, fruit, Greek yoghurt, honey, porridge, Teapigs tea, and freshly ground Colombian coffee, we are sure we can make you the perfect breakfast to set you up for the day
