Situated just outside the hamlet of Field Broughton, two miles to the north of Cartmel, is Broughton House. Built around 1810, and set in two acres of south facing gardens, within the Lake District National Park, Broughton House is a peaceful haven away from the more crowded central Lake District.
Just beside the main house are two self-contained little houses: The Garden House, for two, and the Little Garden House, which is designed especially for solo travellers.
In a private corner of the garden is Ben’s Yurt, and its adjoining Cabin, which – for the slightly more adventurous amongst you - offer a “glamping for softies” option.
We look forward to welcoming you to Broughton House soon.
